Happy Halloween

Sadly it rained all day today but we still went trick or treating on the island. There weren't many trick or treaters this year but Raine got more candy than he did last year! It worked out OK. Raine was the popular one there! Lots of people asked for a picture! Everyone LOVED Deadmau5!! By the time we came home the costume got soaked and went to the trash :( 

ハリケーンの影響で今日も1日中雨、涙。それでも毎年恒例のトロントアイランドへ行って来た。やっぱり天気のせいで去年と比べると子供達は少なかったけど、その分去年より多くキャンディーもらえた（笑）コスチューム作りがんばったかいがあり、通る人から『Deadmau5!』と叫ばれ写真までも撮られてた。レインは気分が良かったはず（笑）家に帰るフェリーを待ってる時、明るいとこで見たら赤くペイントしたマスクがベージュっぽく変色してて、ぬれすぎて耳もペチャンコ状態、涙。結果、家に戻る途中でゴミ箱行き〜。

Halloween is around the corner! Raine wants to be Deadmau5 this year. He is so determined to make the costume on his own! Good for you Raine :)

ハロウィンまでもうすぐ。今年はレインDeadmau5になりたいとずっと言ってて、お店でそんなの買えないしそれなら作る！と宣言しホントに作った！

History Homework

Look What Raine did for his history homework! This is supposed to be an old letter. He ripped and stained the paper with coffee. Pretty impressive!

歴史のクラスで手紙を書く宿題が出た。昔の手紙なので、それっぽくレインは紙をちぎってコーヒーで紙を茶色くしたみたい。感じが出てる！！良く出来ました〜。

Ready for Competition?

Raine's been coming here for 5 months. He learns something new every time. The instructor, Bruce, said he will be ready for the competition in February. 

習い始めて約5ヶ月が経つ。先生がこの調子でいったらレインは2月にあるトーナメントに出れるよって！噂では、体重ごとに分けらるらしく、軽いレインは小学校3年生とかが相手かも（笑）

イートンセンターで世界で一番辛いゴーストペッパーの早食い競争してた。みんな汗びしょびしょになって、食べてるんだけど見てる方も辛い（笑）なんと勝ったのは女性！女子パワーだ〜。

The kids have been talking about the game called "SLENDER". I have no idea what it is but it's supposed to be creepy. Raine couldn't sleep one night just because he talked about it. He knows he gets creeped out but why in the world did he draw this??

子供たちの間で話題になっているSLENDERというゲーム。なんだかよく分からないけど、見ると怖い系？レインは友達と話しただけで怖くてその日夜寝れない状態になったのに、こんなお絵描きした（笑）

Saturday Afternoon

While Raine is in his BJJ class, Daniel and I went to brunch at Maple Leaf Gardens :)
