ESA Open House

Etobicoke School of the Arts is one of two specialized high schools Raine is going to apply to. Over 1,000 students audition every year and only 250 students get in. Their film department which Raine is auditioning for takes only 30 students. Raine's been working hard to get his portfolio ready for his audition. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

いろいろなハイスクールのオープンハウスが今週からスタート。アートスクールに小学校4年生から5年間通い、今の学校に似たようなハイスクールに行きたいと希望するレインは、カナダで1番レベルの高いアートスクールに挑戦することにした！夏からずっと作品作りでがんばっているので、受かるといいな〜。来年2〜3月には答えが出てるはず。親の方がドキドキ！

Capsule Hotel??

This little hotel was created at Union station. Apparently it's designed for people who want a short nap during the day. Interesting... I might try it.

Daniel's mom and I had a cooking class together. Did I learn anything? Yes, I learned SAMPLING IS THE BEST!! 

ダニエルのお母さんと一緒にお料理クラスに行って来た。一番楽しかったのがサンプルの時間（笑）他あんまり覚えてないや（笑）

Friend from Parkdale

We ran into Tristan (and his dad, John!) tonight! They used to play hockey together when they were 8. Can't even remember how many sleepovers they had! Tristan stayed on the same team but Raine went to a different team to play competitive hockey. Since then we have lost contact with them :( It was such a GREAT surprise for all of us! We will definitely get together soon! Lots to catch up :)

5年前に一緒にホッケーやっていたお友達に偶然会った！当時は2人ともまだ8歳でよーくお泊まりをして仲良くしていたファミリー♫Tristanは同じチームに残ったけど、レインが別のホッケーチームに移動してしまってから、なかなか遊べなくなってしまった。Tristanのパパもなーんにも変わってなくてお互い懐かしい〜って話しがノンストップ（笑）電話番号の交換したので、今度ゆっくりディナー！
