Canadian Flute Association Gala Concert

Claude Watson School for the Arts is invited to perform 2 songs at the Women's Art Association. 

レインの学校でフルートを習っている子達が、ダウンタウンにあるWomen's Art Associationで行われた小さなコンサートに招待された。15人くらいが集まり、2曲演奏してきた。

Food Mask

The grade 6s made a food mask in Visual Arts. Raine chose McDonald's french fries! Very creative!

6年生はアートのクラスで食べ物がテーマのマスクを創った。ソフトクリームやイチゴなどカワイらしいマスクがたくさんあり、その中でレインはマクドナルのフレンチフライをテーマにしたらしい（笑）

Reflections 2012

There was a school concert tonight. Believe it or not, it ended before 11PM this year! Many thanks to the new principal, Mr. Bryne!! 

Raine played the flute, guitar and snare drum. He also did tap dancing, drama and many more!

今年もやって来た、長い4時間半のコンサート。と思ったら新しい校長先生になったからら、4時間弱で終わった。過去2年に比べると短いけど、その分内容が濃くってこっちの方が良いや。レインはフルート、ギター、タップダンス、演劇、、、と9このパフォーマンスをした。

My First BJJ Experience

It hasn't been a month yet since Raine started but he has learned many moves. You don't mess with him anymore! He will kick your butt!! 

今日初めてレインのこと連れて行って来た。まだ1ヶ月も経ってないのに、いろいろと技を覚えているみたいだ。レインのこと怒らせたら怖いぞ〜（笑）

This place is popping up everywhere now! The best part is that you get to sample everything! They even have my favorite flavor GREEN TEA!! This is only one block away from Raine's school. We all know where he is taking his friends for free treats after school! 

このフローズンヨーグルト屋さん、いきなりいろいろなとこに現れた！なんと言っても、大好きな抹茶味もあるし、好きなだけサンプルできる（サンプルで十分だから買う必要ないかも（笑））。しかも、レインの学校から徒歩3分くらいのとこにある！ということは、今後放課後の無料スナックに友達連れてどこに行くかわかるなー（笑）

Daniel and I are kind of relieved it is almost over. 2 players broke their collarbone during one game. Some guys are SO big and are out there going after the little guys. Thank goodness that Raine didn't get hurt...

春ホッケーももう残りわずか。やっぱり99年の子たちはサイズも力も全然違う（レインはおチビさんすぎだ）。2人のプレーヤーが試合中に骨折ったり、いろいろなアクシデントがあった。何よりもレインはケガしなくてよかったわ。

Time to learn self defense! He had a free lesson today and Daniel ended up signing up for 7 months. He has leaned some moves already and tried on me when he got back. OUCH! 

トライアルレッスンに連れて行き、本人も楽しかったのか7ヶ月間通うことになった。トライアルで3つくらいの技を学び、家に戻って来たら見せてあげる〜と母親の私が使われた。痛たたたぁ〜、涙。
