No Marlies Game??

Look what Raine and Zack are doing! We were supposed to go to the Marlies game 2 hours ago...

レインの友達がお泊まりに来た。マーリーズの試合を観に行くからうちに泊まりに来たのに、涙。もう試合始まって2時間くらい経つかな、、、あ〜あチケットもったいない。

London Tournament

We had a hockey tournament in London! We played 4 games and we lost them all...  Losing the games didn't really bother the kids at all. The best part for them was running around the hotel and getting in trouble! For me it was drinking and playing the game called "Bananagrams"  with the parents! 

ロンドンでトーナメントがあり、レインと2人で2泊3日行って来た！4つの試合があり、全敗、涙。さすが田舎の子達は上手だわ〜！でも泊まりでのトーナメントは、子供達はホテルで走り回って遊ぶのがなによりも楽しみ。親は飲みながらのおしゃべり！←これマミーが一番得意とすること（笑）

今年のレインのコスチュームかなり笑える！サスカチュワンから来た人がテーマなのに、ダニエルは『70年代のアダルト俳優みたい。。。』と。でもある人はジョニーデップ？？と言ってくれた。

Raine got the flute for his school band this year. He is SO unhappy about it since he wanted to play the sax so bad (it's all Mr. Brown's fault!)!!! To make him feel worse, he found out that It's him and 4 other girls in the group... When he came home from school he googled to see if he could find male flute players. YES, there are some!

レインの学校では、6年生から生徒1人に1つの楽器があたえらる（各学年でオーケストラを作る感じ）。9月から1ヶ月かけて、音楽の先生が誰にどの楽器を弾いてもらうかテストしていた。レインはサックスを希望していたが、選ばれたのはなんとフルート、号泣。かなりブルーになって帰って来た。しかも5人フルートに選ばれ、レインは唯一の男の子らしい。家に帰って来て、まずはコンピューターでフルート弾く男の人がいるかどうか検索してた（笑）

Perry, Jen and Adrien were here for 4 days. Way too short!!! It's time to say goodbye already. We'll miss you!

 今回は4日間だけだったのであっという間だった。ついこの前トロントに来たかと思ったらもう空港でバイバイしないといけない、涙。また直ぐ会えるかな〜。

Happy Thanksgiving!

We took Adrien to the playground. He enjoyed the swing very much! It was good to exercise before the big Thanksgiving dinner! 

家から車で10分くらいの、湖の目の前にある公園に行って来た。Adrienはこのブランコがかなりお気に入りらしい☆これから家に戻って、サンクスギビングのターキーをお腹いっぱい食べるのでその前の運動ということで！

Adrien was very shy when he saw Raine. Once he figured out who Raine was he gave a HUGE hug!

First Day of School

Today is the first day of school. Raine is starting 6th grade! He couldn't wait to use the backpack which he traded with Jiji this summer!

FanExpo

They left the house at 10am. Apparently there was still so much that they didn't see yesterday. Such a big place!

DaveとLukeが10時頃にうちに来て、出かけて行った（日曜日なのにはやっ！）。昨日あれだけ見たのに、まだ全てをカバーしてないらしい。

FanExpo

Raine, Daniel, Dave and Luke went to FanExpo! They ended up getting the 2 day pass. Raine was nice enough to ask me if I was interested in going. Umm...NO. Do you know who was looking forward to this event the most? It's Daniel!

レインのお友達とそのお父さんの4人で、年に1度の"FanExpo"に行って来た！しかも2日間のパスを買って、今日と明日と行くらしい。この日を誰が一番楽しみにしてたって、40才のダニエル！（笑）出かける前にレインは親切なことに『マミーも一緒に行く？』と誘ってくれた。でも何の間もなく『いや、いい』と答えてしまった！

夜遅くに帰って来て、2人とも興奮して、買って来たおもちゃとかポスター（イラストレーターのサイン付き）を自慢してきた。どれもスターウォーズかスパイダーマンだった。

Good thing I didn't go...
