So great to see my friends and family! Had the best time!! We were SO spoiled by everyone! :) Raine said grandma's cooking is the BEST!!!

あっという間の1ヶ月！みんなとバイバイするのさみしいけど、美味しいせいちゃんのご飯でたっぷり癒された〜。今度は10年後じゃなくて、2年に1回は帰りたいな〜。レインはせいちゃんのご飯が一番！って。

Kaname's conversation with Raine:

Kaname: "Raine, ask me anything about your mom. I'll tell you everything!"
Raine: "Was she a good teenager?"
Kaname: "She was drinking a lot!"

Raine: "...OK, but my mom has been telling me about drinking and partying in high school. She says that's all bad and if I do it she will be very upset..."

Thank you Kaname for being honest with my son! LOL!!

友達（要）とカナダへ帰る前の最後のランチをして来た！場所は私のリクエストで下北の大好きなタパスタパスでパスタ♡そこそこ英語が出来る要は（笑）レインと会話するのは良いけど気づいたら変なこと言ってた！（笑）

要：ママのこと何でも聞いて、どんな事でも教えてあげるから！

レイン：ママは良い子（ティーネージャー）だった？

要：その頃からお酒飲むのが好きだったね〜。

レイン：僕これから高校に行くんだけど、ママは僕にハウスパーティーとかお酒を飲むことは悪いことみたく言ってるけど、、、

要へ、本当のことをレインに言ってくれてありがとう！そのおかげで、私の言うことに説得力なくなった（笑）

Last Day at the Gym

Thanks for being so kind to Raine! He learned a lot of Japanese and made great friends! He is already looking forward to coming back and sparring with everyone again! :)

この習い事して本当に良かった！偶然見つけた実家の近くのジム、みんな親切で日本語がたどたどしいレインでもフレンドリーに接してくれました！みんなのおかげで日本語だいぶ復活です（笑）また次回帰国する時はジムに戻るの楽しみだね！

Atsugi Fireworks Festival

This is the only photo that I was able to take (way too many people around me) and it doesn't even look good! Japanese fireworks are supposed to be awesome but it doesn't show in the photo... :( Bummer!

せっかく日本の花火のスゴさを写真におさめたかったけど、こんな1枚しか撮れなかった、涙！人が多すぎるし、暑いしレインはお腹すきすぎてもう帰ろう〜帰ろう〜言うし（笑）せっかくジジがレインに日本の花火のスゴさを見せたかったのに、ちょっと失敗？

Another Reunion

Had a reunion with my elementary school friend! He goes to my dad's tennis club. Such a small world! We didn't see each other for over 20 years but were able to recognize each other!

小学校の時のお友達とジジのテニスクラブでリユニオン！20年以上会ってないけど、お互い全く変わってないからか見た瞬間分かった（笑）子供2人のお父さんになっていたことに驚いたけど、向こうはレイン見てこんな大きな子がいるの〜！ともっと驚いてた（笑）

Reunion

We've been friends for over 20 years! It was SO great to see them and catch up! Hopefully I can see them in Toronto again! :) COME AND VISIT ME!!

20年以上のお友達♫10年ぶりに会ったけど、みんなな〜んも変わってない（笑）もっともっと話したいこといっぱいあって時間が足りない！！またトロント遊びに来て〜♡

Went to Tokyo Station to see some shinkansen bullet trains! We will take one next time when we come back!

東京駅に新幹線見に行って来た！今回は乗れなかったから次回は絶対に乗ってどっか行こうね！

富士急 - Fuji Q

Going to Fuji Q was the main event for Raine during this trip! He is a huge roller coaster junkie now (so am I!)!! We spent 7 hours and rode only 6 rides. We could have ridden more but I am blaming their extreme customer service for that! :( 

今回の帰国でレインが一番楽しみにしていた富士急に行って来た〜！レインはトロントにいる時からYoutubeで富士急の乗り物を検索してて、ギネスブックに載った乗り物3つに乗って来た！人は少なかったのに、丁寧すぎるカスタマーサービスのせいで7時間で6コの乗り物しか乗れなかった、涙！
