FanExpo

Raine, Daniel, Dave and Luke went to FanExpo! They ended up getting the 2 day pass. Raine was nice enough to ask me if I was interested in going. Umm...NO. Do you know who was looking forward to this event the most? It's Daniel!

レインのお友達とそのお父さんの4人で、年に1度の"FanExpo"に行って来た！しかも2日間のパスを買って、今日と明日と行くらしい。この日を誰が一番楽しみにしてたって、40才のダニエル！（笑）出かける前にレインは親切なことに『マミーも一緒に行く？』と誘ってくれた。でも何の間もなく『いや、いい』と答えてしまった！

夜遅くに帰って来て、2人とも興奮して、買って来たおもちゃとかポスター（イラストレーターのサイン付き）を自慢してきた。どれもスターウォーズかスパイダーマンだった。

Sleepover with Zack!

Raine's friend, Zack, came to our house for a sleepover! Having 2 boys in the house could get crazy!

レインの友達Zackがお泊まりに来た！男の子2人は大変だ〜。良く食べるし、とにかく良く動く！

Kingston

This is our last stop before heading back to Toronto. Kingston is a small city but very pretty. We had lunch here and it turned out to be the best Italian food I have ever had since I moved to Toronto! Yummy!!!

トロントへ戻る前にKingstonで車を止め、ランチがてら少し観光することにした。どんな町なのか分からず行ったけど、小さな町でマーケットがあったり、ハーバーがありすごくきれいな場所！期待してなかっただけに、3人とも大満足！ランチをとったイタリアンレストランもトロントで1番美味しいと思っているところより美味しかったかも。

近くにサイクリング用トレールがあるのか、町で歩いている人みんなヘルメットかぶって、サイクリストの服装してた（笑）。

Ottawa Part6-Canadian Museum of Nature

Before heading back to Toronto Raine wanted to to go to another museum. Since we didn't have much time we speedwalked through!

トロントへ戻る前に、もう1つミュージアムを見たいとレインからのリクエスト。5階建ての建物で、時間があまりなかったので、早歩きで周った（笑）

This is the most interesting creature I have ever seen in my life! Believe it or not, this is a male bird! Apparently these guys are extinct but you can find some in Saskatchewan. Click here!

このミュージアムで一番おもしろかったモノがこの鳥！もう世界的に数が少なくなって来ているみたいだが、なんとダニエルの育ったサスカチュワン州で見れるらしい！おもしろいのが、こんな格好してるけど、これはオスらしい（笑）ここクリック！

Ottawa Part5-Sound and Light Show

We went to see this sound and light show at Parliament Hill. We didn't know what to expect but it was something we had never seen before! The show lasted for about 35 minutes and I swear I did NOT blink not even once! IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Parliament Hillで、7月から9月まで毎晩”Sound and Light Show”というのをやっていて（しかも無料で！）、見に行って来た。ショーは35分くらいで、建物をバックグランドに、ナレーションとイラストでカナダの歴史とランドスケープを語る！こんなショーは今までに見たことがない！

Such a big museum! Raine got to touch lots of things and learned about Canadian history as we walked through! Very interesting!

Ottawa Part1-ByWard Market

We drove over 250km and finally arrived in Ottawa! Our B&B is in Downtown and within walking distance to everything! Since I have been doing a lot of driving we decided to take it easy today. We just checked out the place called ByWard Market.

今日はオタワへ移動の日、250km以上は運転したかな。知らない道の運転は長く感じる！途中休憩をとり午後2:30くらいには到着。（←休憩と言うとマクドナルド！じじは日本でファーストフードなんて一切食べないから、こっちに来るとマクドナルド〜と提案をする。）

予約したB&Bはダウンタウンにあり、どこでも歩いて行ける便利な場所！チェックインした後に、今日はByWard Marketというとこだけ観光して、どこか美味しいレストランでディナー！
