Algonquin Park Part1

We have arrived at Algonquin Park!

Before we hit some trails we need to get fuel! It turned out to be a pretty good burger place!

Along Highway 60, we saw 2 moose!

Dorset

We drove through this little town called Dorset on the way to Algonquin Park. There are probably 5 stores on Main Street. All you need is 5 minutes to see the entire town! Such a cute little place!

アルゴンキンパークに行く途中、小さな町のDorsetというところでひと休憩。ダウンタウンと言われているとこは5こくらいのお店しかなく、5分ほどで観光が終わってしまった（笑）。

Canoeing

Even though it was a bit windy I wanted to try canoeing. Since Raine and I had a bad canoe experience 3 years ago in Banff Raine wasn't keen to do it (with me!).

We got a life jacket on and a whistle to blow when we need help (I mean "flip over"!)! We are good to go!

今日は風が少しあるけど、ここまで来てカヌーをしないのはおかしい！と挑戦することに決定！3年前にバンフで怖い経験したのをまだ覚えてるらしく、レインはマミーとはやりたくない〜〜〜（涙）と。B&Bからライフジャケットと何かあった時にSOSを呼ぶための笛をもらい、いざ出発！

Mommy: We are going to have FUN!

"Mommy, are you sure you want to come with me and Jiji? You can stay back and watch us if you want!"

"Yes, I am sure that I want to come!"

This is better! The boys are doing all the work!

We have finally arrived at the B&B! I have to say this is the nicest and cleanest one ever! Staying here makes me want to do this business when I get older...

車でどれくらい走ったのだろうか。。。やっとB&Bに到着です☆三角のログハウスで絵に描いたようなきれいなお家。リタイヤしたらダニエルとこういうのやるのもいいよな〜。

Head Lake Park (Haliburton)

Jiji came to visit from Japan and this time he did NOT have time for jet lag! We went on a road trip right away! (Daniel wasn't able to make it because of his work...SUCKS!)

We drove 3 hours from Toronto and our first stop was Haliburton! We parked the car at the park called Head Lake Park.

じじがトロントへ遊びに来た！毎年違う場所へ行こうとプランし、今年は内容濃く、Haliburton、Muskoka、Dorset、OttawaとKingstonへ車旅行！残念ながらダニエルは、旅行2日前くらいに仕事の締め切りの都合で、急遽行けなくなってしまった（号泣）！お父さんって大変だ〜ね。←人ごとです。

まぁ、ダニエルの分の楽しもうと、じじとレインの3人でいざ出発！3時間くらいかな、第一目的地のHaliburtonに到着。Head Lakeという公園があり、まずはそこに車とめてウロウロ。

Why is it called Head Lake??

YEAH, WILDLIFE! ...a frog.

Raine was feeding the ducks. When he ran out of the bread, they started chasing him! They even came out of the water and chased big time!

Raine's feet are nice and dry! FYI, I have to say this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been... There are probably 5 restaurants in this city. I guess we can't be picky...
