We went to see a basketball game. As we walked in Perry found one of the cheerleaders! We(I mean Perry!) of course asked for a picture! It turned out to be a pretty exciting game and we all had lots of fun!

NBAの試合に行って来た。ACCに入った瞬間Raptorsのチアリーダーを発見！（Perryが）近づいていって写真一緒にお願いしま〜す、と頼みハイチーズ！なぜかJenが写真を撮る担当になった？！

Raine is SO happy and excited that he finally met his cousin(he waited forever for this day to come)! Raine wants to try and do everything to help out Auntie Jen and Uncle Perry!

Raine had a game at the Mastercard Centre where the Leafs practice! It's kind of cool!

マスターカードセンター（トロントのプロのホッケーチームが普段練習で使っているアリーナ）で試合があった。我が家は別にメープルリーフスのファンではないけど、ちょいと興奮ぎみ？！

Raine took an eye exam at school and failed! We had to get him a pair of glasses. I think he was looking forward to it. Time to nerd out! Ha ha! He actually looks a bit smart now.

学校の視力検査でひっかかってしまった！我が家はみんな目が悪いからしょうがないったらしょうがないが、レインもメガネっ子になってしまう（悲）。本人はメガネを買うことに喜びを感じているよう。これで他のアジア人の仲間入りだ〜。でも少しは頭よく見えるかも？！

Parents vs Kids

Raine's team had a Christmas party. The kids had a game against their parents and a pizza party afterwards. I can really tell some of the parents are getting OLD(ha ha!)! I bet they used to be a good player when they were young but they can't keep up with their 10 year old son now! They kept coming back to the bench to catch breath. Funny!

チームのクリスマスパーティーがあった。1時間親と子供での対戦で試合をしその後にピザパーティーとなった。着替えている時は親もスゴくやる気があって、元気だったのに、試合が始まって最初の20分くらいで全てのエネルギーを使い果たしたのか、かなりのお疲れモードになった（笑）。多分若かった頃はホッケーうまかったろうな...と思う動きだけども、今となってはビールぱらのお父さんたち（笑）。ベンチに戻って来てはハァハァと一生懸命酸素を吸ってた。やっぱり子供には負けるな〜。明日みんな筋肉痛でしょう（泣）。

First Christmas in Oakville

Daniel's parents will spend their first Christmas in Oakville! We found a perfect spot for the tree and Raine decorated it! Wonder what Santa is bringing this year...to MOMMY!

This is called "Power Balance" and it's created for athletes. How do you use it?? Simply put it on your wrist(or ankle). That's it! It doesn't make you stronger but it's supposed to help keep you more balanced. I guess a lot of pro athletes are wearing it.

Some guys were selling at the arena and Raine saw them testing. He was SO amazed(of course) and begged me to buy one. I ended up buying it just because all his teammates bought it. Personally I don't believe in this kind of stuff. The original price was $40 but it was $20. Yeah yeah... Well, we'll see if it really works on Raine.

これは"Power Balance"と呼ばれる、多くのプロスポーツ選手も使っているブレスレット。これを手首につけるだけでバランススキルがアップ。ホッケーの練習の後に小さなブースがあるのを見つけ、そこにたくさんの人たちが集まっていたのでやじうましに行った。上のリンクを見ると分かると思うが、なかなか不思議なもの。でも、これが$40??でもその日だけなんと半額の$20だったらしい（あ〜うそくさっ！）。まぁ子供だましと言ったらいいのか、レインなんて目をまん丸くしてほしい〜ほしい〜と。チームメイトもみんな買ってもらってて我が家も結局買うはめになった、涙。次の試合何か違いがあるか見てやるぞっ！

Halloween

We went trick or treating this year with Toren and Julia. They were SO excited about the ferry ride to the island(I think their parents were more excited!)! It was very cold but we all had a blast! I have to say that we go to the island every year but this year is by far the best!!! Lots more kids and candy! MMM, SKITTLES!!!

今年は友達のTorenとJuliaを連れて、トロントアイランドへハロウィンに行って来た。雪が少し降ってどうなるかと思ったけど無事フェリーで島に到着！トロントに生まれて育ったながらも島には行ったことがないらしく、親の方が興奮。今年は今までで一番子供が多く、キャンディーもたくさんあって最高だった。マミーの大好きなSkittlesをたくさんもらったみたいで、家に帰ってレインが寝るの楽しみ♪マミーのスナックタイムだ〜。

Leafs vs Rangers

Raine's friend, Jake invited us to see a hockey game at ACC! They were $198 tickets and it WAS awesome (even though Raine doesn't like the Leafs)! They originally asked Daniel to go but I stole his ticket. HA HA!

レインのお友達、Jakeが4つホッケーのチケットを持っていて（なんと$198の席！）レインとダニエルのことを誘ってくれた。トロントでNHLなんて見たくてもなかなか見れないのに、なんでダニエルが誘われて私じゃないんだ、と思いダニエルからチケット奪って私が行って来ちゃいました〜。
